Job Opportunity: Garment Production Assistant

Written by Carmina Design Co. | Oct 16, 2023 10:15:49 PM

We're on the hunt for a Garment Production Assistant to join our team, and we're not too hung up on your past experience or specific skills. What we're really looking for is someone with the right attitude and aptitude to take charge and keep things running smoothly in our manufacturing facility.

Your main responsibility will be making sure everything is shipshape and running like a well-oiled machine. From managing inventory to learning how to handle and cut textiles, you'll be a key part of our garment manufacturing process. Extensive training will be provided to work with our Gerber textile CNC machine (if you don’t know what that means, don’t worry!)

We're not expecting you to come in with a laundry list of qualifications. We believe that the right person can learn the ropes and grow into the role. So, if you've got a can-do attitude, a knack for problem-solving, quick on your feet, and eager to roll up your sleeves and dive right in, we want to hear from you!

If you possess the necessary skills and a commitment to excellence in your work, we invite you to join our team. Your expertise and attention to detail will make a valuable contribution to our success in delivering high-quality clothing!

What We Offer

  • Wages start at $21 an hour, with a standard work week of 40 hours. For highly experienced applicants, the wage will increase to reflect your capabilities.

Benefits packages, including options for family coverage, are available after 3 months of employment.

How to Apply:

If you're ready to be a part of our mission to change the fashion industry, send your resume and a brief introduction telling us why you're the perfect fit for our team to recruitment@carmina.ca. Please include the position you're applying for in the subject line of the email.

Join us and be a part of the movement towards a more sustainable, innovative, and ethical future in fashion. Together, we can change clothing manufacturing in Canada, one garment at a time.
